Our second entry in our Smoothie Recipe Of The Week section. Today we have a fruity nutritious Mango Papaya smoothie recipe for you guys. Personally i feel mango and papaya compliment each other brilliantly in regards to flavour. This recipe serves 3-4 small glasses as pictured below.

1 Mango

1 Papaya

1 Naval Orange

2 Plums

Half A Cup Of Water/Coconut Water

Do note that the nutrition values may vary slightly. If using coconut water in place of regular then it will increase the nutrition further especially the values of magnesium, calcium and potassium.

We will be including the nutritional summary(see below) of all our smoothie recipes so you can get an idea how nutritious they really are. The sugars are naturally occurring fructose from fruit and unless you have diabetes or other problems with blood sugar are perfectly fine sources of carbohydrates. This green smoothie recipe is particular is also a great source of phyto-sterols.

You could increase the nutrition and health benefits further by adding a small amount of the superfoods Chlorella or Spirulina to your smoothie.
